泰国前副总理王鹏狄(右)在第13届亚洲品牌盛典上致辞

9月9日,由专业品牌评价机构Asiabrand 发起,并联合中国亚洲经济发展协会、一带一路总商会、韩国亚洲新闻集团、中国文化产业协会、香港国际投资总会、东盟-中国工商总会、印度工业协会、亚太卫视、澳门商报等单位联合主办的“第13届亚洲品牌盛典”在香港隆重举行。泰国前副总理王鹏狄应邀出席并进行精彩致辞。

王鹏狄强调,随着全球化深入发展、区域经济一体化加速推进,亚洲各国越来越成为命运相连、利害攸关的共同体。 在这种形势下,亚洲各经济体既面临赶超和跨越的历史机遇,也面临强弱差距进一步拉大的挑战,只有通过质量、创新和品牌建设的打造,才能取得市场地位和长远发展。


以下为演讲原文:

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

First of all, thanks for the invitation of the Asia Brand Ceremony Organizing Committee, let us all witness together the strength and cohesion of Asian brands!

女士们、先生们,大家好!

首先,感谢亚洲品牌盛典的邀请,让我们大家一起共同见证亚洲品牌的实力和凝聚力!

At present, the world is accelerating the transformation of old and new economic drivers. Asia and the whole world are in a period of major development, major changes and major adjustments.

当前,全球新旧动能正在加快转换。正如李寿成先生所说,亚洲乃至整个世界都处在一个大发展、大变革、大调整的时代。

Under such circumstances, Asian economies are faced with both historical opportunities to catch up and leap forward,and the challenge of widening the economic gaps.

在这种形势下,亚洲各经济体既面临赶超和跨越的历史机遇,也面临强弱差距进一步拉大的挑战。

The strength of a country depends not only on the size of its economy, the size of its territory and the size of its population, but also on its innovation and brand strength.

一个国家是否强大不仅取决于经济总量、领土幅员和人口规模,更取决于它的创新能力和品牌实力。

Only by making efforts to make new deployments and breakthroughs in innovative development can we keep pace with the world development trend and grasp the initiative of development.

只有努力在创新发展上进行新部署、实现新突破,才能跟上世界发展大趋势,把握发展的主动权。

However, if an enterprise wants to stay ahead of the trend of The Times and win the fierce market competition, it is not only necessary to constantly innovate, but also to build a brand. Only through quality, innovation and brand building can it gain market position and long-term development.

不过一个企业要想走在时代潮流的前端,赢得激烈的市场竞争,除了不断创新,品牌建设也必不可少,只有通过质量、创新和品牌建设的打造,才能取得市场地位和长远发展。

As a traditional country of tourism and agricultural products, Thailand has its own unique culture and national brand image, which also attracts global people's interest in Thai culture.

泰国是传统的旅游和农产品大国,有着自己独特的文化和国家品牌形象,也吸引了全球人民对泰国文化的兴趣。

This is the cumulative advantage of Thailand's long-term adherence to cultural promotion. But we still have a long way to go in terms of technology and brand strength.

这是泰国坚持长期进行文化推广积累的优势,但是我们在科技方面、品牌实力方面还有很长的发展之路要走。

I believe that in the process of coordinated development and cooperation with Asian countries and regions, we will give play to our respective resource advantages and achieve more fruitful results.

我相信在与亚洲各国和地区的协同发展和合作过程中,我们会发挥各自的资源优势,取得更丰硕的成果!
